Happy Valentines Day!

The good news is that Eliseo had an excellent day at dayhome today. Eimear said he didn't shed a tear, took all his naps well and that he is making progress. This means I can take a deep breath and relax a little bit more. I was worrying and wondering if he was ever going to adjust. He still doesn't like to go to the toy room with the other kids but baby steps... he'll get there soon enough.

Eimear threw a little Valentines day party today at dayhome and Eliseo came home with a little heart full of Valentines from his new friends at dayhome. He also got to have his first lollipop. Actually Alexa grabbed the pop and was eating it and he was fascinated by this stick hanging out of her mouth, so she shared with him and gave him a small taste. Well... she couldn't get him off her lap after that, he wanted more!
This heart was his first craft! He received some help I'm sure pasting the stickers onto the heart but it was really nice to know that he helped make it.
Thomas the Train stickers were one of his Valentines gifts. Alexa put them on his face and he didn't even know they were there until Mommy peeled them off his face, he looked at me with complete shock and then I put the sticker on my face and the poor little guy was so confused, I could see his brain working trying to figure what the heck Mommy was doing.
