Eliseo is very fortunate to have big sister Alexa. She plays all kinds of games with him and the two of them have so much fun. You can see how much he adores her, every time she comes home he stands at the gate and waits for her to come pick him up and play. One of the games they play is the "Blanket Express" She pulls him around the house on his blanket, he laughs like crazy!
Eliseo got this little truck for his birthday and we have been trying to get him to walk with the handle on the back of the truck but he would have no part of it. Everytime we would try, he would sink to his knees. Of course, we kept trying and a couple of weeks ago he walked for the first time with the truck. It was preety cool! I think it will still be a while until we walks on his own, sometimes when he's playing he lifts his hands off a piece of furniture and he doesn't fall down right away, he quickly realizes that he is standing on his own and he gets a really scared look on his face and PLOP down he goes quick as he can.
For those wondering how the dayhome is going, I have good news! Eliseo has really settled in, the Cobija has really helped and sometimes we can even drop him off in the morning with NO tears! Yahoo! He has even made it downstairs to the toyroom with the other kids. At one point I thought he was never going to adjust, I am so relieved and happy that I pick him up at the end of the day and he is full of sunshine and smiles!
