I never had to pottytrain Alexa, she did it herself, in one day and never looked back, so I don't have much experience but have been warned about the trials of pottytraining boys. So I was quite surprised when Eliseo took his first step towards diaper independance these last few weeks. I read somwhere that around Eliseo's age you can start sitting them on the toilet, no pressure, just have them sit there for a bit. So I did just that a few weeks ago and within two mintues he made his pooping face and we had success. I thought it was a fluke, so we tried again a few days later, success again. Alonso has been trying it a couple of times a day, and he seems to be getting the hang of it quite well. While I know the journey is FAR from over, I figure this is a good start.

wow that is amazing!! You guys should have more kids..Eliseo is a great baby, he sleeps well, great eater and now maybe potty trained before turning 1. You guys are very lucky.
Ok that can't be any cuter! Wow I can't believe how well he's picking up on it. Seriously I think boys are hard. The whole "tucking it in" thing and everything! Connor is having bad days now, it's frustrating! Way to go Eliseo! He's so cute!
