This week we have family visiting from Windsor, Ontario. They came for Stampede and for Eliseo's baptism (which was postponed until August). It's been 5 years since we have seen some of them and it was so nice to get together again.
Dinner the first night: Francisco, Samantha, Andy, Mirna, Alexa, Eliseo, Melvin, Nellie & Alonso. It's so nice to have a full table for dinner. I'm also getting some more practice with my Spanish while I listen to everyone talking. One day I won't be so shy and start speaking it myself.
We went to visit the dinosaurs in drumheller. This is Alonso wrestling with a Dinosaur, take a guess at who won!
Papusa Day! Evelyn, Nellie & Mirna and I made Pupusa's all afternoon.
I love cooking with family in the kitchen. Thankfully this day wasn't too hot. The next day we decided to make Sopa de Vaca and it was 30+ degrees outside! We were sweating so much we had to go for walk after dinner to get some fresh air. I took everyone to Fish Creek Park for a small hike, it was great except for all the mosquitos!
Everyone eating the soup!
