We replaced our old wet camera with a new one and this past weekend we headed up to Invermere where I got a chance to put it to work. After much research we purchased the Canon Rebel EOS T1x, it's an upgrade from our old point and shoot because this one is a DSLR, which means you can add different lenses and the technology used to take the picture is different, the camera world can be very complicated. Anyhow, it's actually really easy to use and it takes awesome pictures. In total I took 750 pictures in two days. I know that sounds crazy but the continuous shooting takes 3.4 pictures per second, it adds up quick.

Alexa got to try her hand at wake surfing again. She did really good, I was quite impressed at how much she has improved since the last time.

WIPEOUT! I would not of got this shot with my old camera.

Alexa and her friend Denae on the tube.

Eliseo was sooo good on the boat. He kept saying "Agua, Agua" and pointing at the water.

Look at this action shot! On Sunday we went to the park and they had a really cool swing with a deep bucket. His hair was blowing in the breeze!

Brother and sister, sharing a Beso. Another shot I never would of caught without the fast continuous shooting.

Of course, we had to go for a swim too. Eliseo put up his usual stink in the beginning but with some coaxing he got in the water and enjoyed himself.

All in all is was a great relaxing weekend, lots of family fun and great weather. I'm very happy with the new camera and can't wait to use it again. We are going down to Idaho for a few days next week, I expect the camera will get some more use.
