11th Month

We have begun introducing more complex textures to Eliseo's food. He started with a meal of cubed steamed sweet potato and brown rice. He didn't like it much, he didn't mind playing with the food but when it came to actually putting it in his mouth, no way... he much prefers to be fed the mushy stuff. We'll try again in a couple of weeks.
He has found something new to do though... STAIRS! We were visiting friends in Invermere over the Christmas break and they have lights on their steps. Eliseo loves lights and couldn't help himself, he only went up a couple of steps and then looked down and decided that was enough.
Hey, how did I get up here?
There is a lake in Invermere and it freezes over in the winter, there is actually a 21 km loop that you can skate and they also made a highway on the lake and you can drive your car right across. We tried to buy a baby tobaggan from the store but they were all sold out, no worries though, I married MacGyver so we went to Fields, bought a Rubbermaid tub and some string and badda boom badda bing we have a sled. Alonso tied the other end around his waist and we went for a walk on the lake. Alexa went skating up ahead of us and checked out some ice fishing huts.
The weekend was not without some fun for Dad too. Alonso & Tony enjoying themselves in the hottub!

I just love this photo, he loves to make these funny faces and laugh and snort all at the same time!
