Eliseo is sooo interested in our food when we eat, he is just mesmerized staring at us at the kitchen table. They say that's one of the signs that they are ready to start on some "solids". So I bought some organic rice cereal and we set out to have The First Supper. Alonso was dissapointed in the menu and wanted to feed him rice and bean and tortillas!
Here he is in his high chair before we began. We figured just a diaper was best, less laundry to clean!
He did preety good, better than Alexa did on her first go but back then they had us start solids at 3 months. A lot ended up on his chest and face but he ate a couple of tablespoons which is a good start.
Would you like some fingers with your cereal? He LOVES his fingers and isn't quite ready to give them up.
